A very happy day

Do I look pretty in this picture? Not at all! I'm exhausted, red-faced, in a tiny bit of pain....but I was about to cross the finish line at last year's Race for the Cure, the first race I'd run since the 1980s, and I'm so very proud I did!

Cancer sucks. It's really that simple. Many of my family, friends, and colleagues are cancer survivors, and I run to honor their strength, as well as to raise funds for finding cures.

Will I run this year, or walk, or a little of each? Only my knee injury knows for sure. But in any case, the money raised will go to support important research and services. Any support you can provide is greatly appreciated!
