Another year has passed……..and 2008-2009 was a year with some ups and downs.

In the fall of 2008, the cancer returned again….this time as leptomeningeal metastases. With the love and support of family and friends (and of course some good ole’ medicine) I bounced back and…….

In March 2009, I celebrated my 5th wedding anniversary and my 5-year cancer survivorship with a glorious trip to Rome, Italy, planned by my wonderfully supportive and loving husband. It was both beautiful and AMAZING!

As I write this, I’m facing my next health-related hurdle….changes in my vision as a result of the leptomeningeal mets. I am preparing to enter a clinical trial in August, which I am confident, will help me through this challenge.

But it’s you, my family and friends, who have been vital to my successes and to the future success of fundraising for the necessary research to cure and eliminate breast cancer.
